WPST was built from the ground up for the wavepool era — fair, accessible, and truly global.

Register for an Event

Choose from 8 competition divisions and 4 special categories (male and female) Juniors to Masters, Adaptive to Open. Book and purchase your session during the event dates at the relevant wavepool. Entry starts from $30 USD, giving every surfer a global competition pathway.

Upload Your Best Waves

Purchase and download your waves at the wavepool venue from the official video provider. Upload your two best waves directly on our platform during the competition window, and our international judging panel reviews and scales your footage.

Official HD video upload in landscape format · Any WPST venue during event dates · Submit within 7 days of surfing

Surf Judges Score Your Waves

Once the event upload entry closes, your waves are scored by an experienced international panel of 5 surf judges (male and female) using our new - TRIPLE C -judging criteria set for Wavepool Surf Tour competitions. COMMITMENT - CREATIVITY - CONTROL

Road to the Final

Sign up as a full member and you're in the running. Top performers in WPST online and regional events can qualify for the LIVE world final. 176 Surfers across all divisions will qualify. Individual event winners as well as the top two athletes on the regional final year end leaderboard will qualify for the world final — the ultimate stage in wavepool competition.
